Musical Roots
I grew up in a Québécois family culture shaped by music, traditional gatherings, and instruments that were always nearby. Although I never fully pursued learning an instrument, I developed a strong musical ear and a lasting connection to sound.
Discovering DJing
Everything changed when I was asked to DJ at a cégep party. It became my creative outlet, allowing me to shape musical experiences, refine mixing skills, and connect with audiences.
From DJing to Creative Production
As DJ culture evolved toward music production, I explored electronic tools such as the Roland MC-303. My interest, however, shifted toward a more cinematic form of turntablism, blending sound, music, and visual storytelling.
AI as a Creative Enabler
Ideas, melodies, and concepts often arrive unexpectedly. AI became valuable not as a replacement for creativity, but as a way to capture, develop, and structure ideas instantly. It reinforced a belief that creation is always stronger than the tools used to support it.
The Smartphone as a Portable Studio
Today, my smartphone is my primary creative tool. It allows me to write, record, sketch, research, and create wherever inspiration strikes. Combined with a digital stylus, it merges the spontaneity of traditional drawing and writing with the flexibility of digital technology.
Identity, Independence, and Collaboration
Returning to my artistic roots helped define a clear creative identity. While technology accelerates the process, ideas, writing, perspective, and human collaboration remain at the heart of the work. The studio is where everything comes together, balancing innovation, craftsmanship, and collaboration.

Racines musicales
’ai grandi dans un univers typiquement québécois, marqué par les réunions familiales, les rigodons et la présence constante de la musique. Même sans suivre un parcours musical traditionnel, j’ai développé très tôt une oreille attentive et un lien naturel avec le son.
La découverte du DJing
Tout a changé lorsqu’on m’a demandé d’être DJ lors d’une fête au cégep. J’y ai trouvé un véritable moyen d’expression, à travers le mixage, la sélection musicale et la création d’ambiances.
Du DJing à la création
Alors que le métier de DJ évoluait vers la production musicale, j’ai exploré des outils comme le Roland MC-303. Mon intérêt s’est toutefois dirigé vers une approche plus cinématographique du turntablism, où le son et l’image peuvent dialoguer librement.
L’IA au service de la création
Les idées, mélodies et concepts surgissent souvent spontanément. L’IA est devenue un allié pour les capturer, les structurer et les développer rapidement, sans jamais remplacer l’essentiel : l’idée et l’élan créatif.
Le téléphone comme studio portatif
Aujourd’hui, mon téléphone intelligent est mon principal outil de création. Il me permet d’écrire, enregistrer, dessiner, documenter et rechercher, où que je sois. Avec un stylet numérique, je retrouve le geste naturel du crayon tout en bénéficiant de la souplesse du numérique.
Identité, autonomie et collaboration
Le retour à mes racines artistiques m’a permis de clarifier mon identité créative. La technologie accélère le processus, mais ce sont les idées, l’écriture, le regard humain et la collaboration qui lui donnent sa véritable valeur. Le studio demeure l’endroit où tout se rassemble.
